Kai Studio 1/12 Steve Rogers Head for S.H. Figuarts Captain America

I love variant figures. So when I saw someone post a teaser of the head sculpt on Instagram, I knew I had to go find the artist. He goes by Kai Studio and he does his selling on his Facebook page (click here to go there). The quality of this head sculpt is amazing. Like Hot Toys quality. That's because he also does 1/6 scale too. When he finally did release pictures of the final product I was happy, but his hair color was too blonde for me. See I have the Chris Evans Captain America stuck in my head and that's what I wanted. I did ask Kai if he could paint the hair browner, but he said he might get the shading wrong which I don't blame him. So once I got it I added brown wash, I still wanted some of his blonde highlights but majority I wanted brown. Very easy mod and very happy with the final product.

DC Collectibles Flash TV show figure - Season 2 modification

All you Flash TV show fans know Barry's season 2 costume with the white emblem is sick. So I had to repaint it.

Since this is the only decent figure we have of the Flash, I dunno there was just something about the face that was off. So upon further inspection I noticed there wasn't black wash on the lightning indents of mask. So boom, I fixed that too and added black wash to his face. His face was just too plain and clean for me especially when the whole figure has a lot of black wash detailing. So I found a newly love for this figure and enjoy the pics.
